Alan McNea is a builder from Newport, County Mayo Ireland. He has spent the last twenty three years in Chicago building luxurious homes and various multi-unit properties as President and owner of I & M Construction.
Anthony Staggs is a graduate of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and a Masters of Science in Sport Management. Anthony has worked in various operations and supervisory roles across various industries and has expertise in various elements. Anthony’s father was a builder in Northern California and he has spent time on jobsites since a young age. Anthony joined I & M Construction in May 2016 and has worked his way up from Office Manager to Director of Operations and is now the Vice President of McNea & Sons Construction. Anthony serves clients in project management and coordination roles and works closely with subcontractors, owners, banks, and title companies to get projects to completion.
Liam Leader is the Head of Construction for McNea & Sons Construction. Liam serves as the supervisor of site supervisors and is a well versed problem solver with extensive experience in a variety of trades. Liam grew up in the house his grandfather built in County Cork, Ireland. He served his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker before moving to Chicago in 1986. There he gained experience in all aspects of residential carpentry and, in the early 1990s, started his own carpentry contractor business (Blackwater Inc.). He plied his trade on the north side of Chicago and suburbs over the next 30 years and grew Blackwater into a residential developer.
Liam reunited with Alan McNea at I & M Construction in 2017 and is excited to continue doing high-end quality work for McNea & Sons. He brings extensive construction knowledge and leadership experience to his role supervising development of multi-unit buildings to restaurants to single-family homes.
Marcelo Medina “Mike” is a Site Supervisor for McNea and Sons. Marcelo was born in Michoacán, Mexico and has been in the Chicago area since 1995. Marcelo is a trained trim carpenter but can do all aspects of construction from rough carpentry to finish carpentry. Mike has been working in the construction for over twenty years and worked with Alan and Anthony at I & M Construction since 2017.
Libby Nagyova is our office manager with 20+ years of invaluable experience in construction office management and bookkeeping. Libby honed her skills while working for steel companies and disaster restoration firms in both Chicago and New Jersey. Her extensive background brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team, making her a valuable asset in helping the team with day-to day operations. Libby works with owners and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly. Libby also speaks four languages to help the team communicate with a variety of trades.
